Australian-born, Eleanor Campbell is a creative dancer/performer based in Brussels.
Eleanor (born 1985) completed a Diploma in Classical Ballet at Christine Walsh Dance Centre, Melbourne in 2002. At 18 years, she joined the Queensland Ballet Company’s Professional Year Program, where she performed as a member of the corps de ballet. In 2004-2005 Eleanor was a member of Dance North, where she worked with a variety of Australian choreographers including Jane Pirani, Gavin Webber, Jason Pitt and Meryl Tankard.
In July 2006, Eleanor moved to Europe to gain experience through travel and to develop her dance training across different disciplines of the performing arts. In 2007, she began a contemporary dance education at S.E.A.D. (Salzburg Experimental Academy of Dance ) in Austria. The following year she was accepted in P.A.R.T.S. (Performing Arts Research and Training Studios) and is now in her 4th and final year.
While at P.A.R.T.S. Eleanor has undertaken workshops and creative processes with a variety of artists including Thomas Hauert, Salva Sanchis, Lance Gries, Florence Augendre, Etienne Guilloteau, Claire Croizé and Lia Rodriguez.
Eleanor is currently working on a new creation for P.A.R.T.S’ international tour and will graduate this coming June.
